About French Riviera
The French Riviera is the informal name for the Côte d'Azur (French: [kot dazyʁ] ; Provençal: Còsta d'Azur), the blue coast of the Mediterranean Sea at the southeast corner of France. The French Riviera extends from the coastal Alpes-Maritimes department, from the rock formation Massif de l'Esterel to Menton, at the Franco–Italian border. The coastline is in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of France. The Principality of Monaco is a semi-enclave within the region, circumscribed on three sides by France and the Mediterranean Sea. The French Riviera comprises the resorts of Cap-d'Ail, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Villefranche-sur-Mer and Antibes, Juan-les-Pins, Cannes, and Théoule-sur-Mer.
